October Security Update

Turfway Park’s security officer, Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Edwards, has reported recent thefts from vehicles in the nearby Wakefield neighborhood. As a reminder, please remove all valuables from vehicles and lock them overnight.

September Security Update

Turfway Park’s security officer, Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Edwards, has reported recent burglaries in the area. Suspects were described as two tall, black males possibly wearing grey sweatshirts and jeans. The suspects were reported to be driving a newer model silver sedan.

Reminder- Neighborhood Garage Sale Tomorrow!

Hello neighbors! This is just a reminder that the HOA Board of Directors is hosting a neighborhood garage sale tomorrow, Saturday, August 23rd, from 8am-2pm. Feel free to extend those hours to fit your schedule and advertise on garage sale sites if you’d like to. We hope to see everyone tomorrow. Have fun! 😀

Fall Garage Sale

The neighborhood fall garage sale has been set for Saturday, August 23rd. The HOA Board of Directors will post signs at the neighborhood’s entrance and throughout the neighborhood to advertise. Feel free to post your individual sale on garage sale sites. Let your neighbors know! 🙂

A new poll has been added to the website for us to vote on the date of the neighborhood garage sale this fall. Please vote by Friday, August 8th to ensure your vote is counted and let your neighbors know about the poll!

July Security Update

There have been recent thefts from vehicles in the Foxberry Trace neighborhood, which is near the intersection of Berry Road and Smith Valley Road. Due to recent thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area, this is a reminder to please remove all valuables from your cars and lock them.

June Security Update #2

Turfway Park’s security officer, Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Edwards, has reported a recent theft in the Carefree North neighborhood. Suspects were described as a thin, white male in his thirties and a thin, white female with dirty blonde hair. The suspects were reported to be driving an older faded maroon mini van. The suspects stole a weed eater out of the garage with the homeowner was working in the backyard.

May Security Update

Vacation season is here! Please make sure your patio doors are locked and have a security device. When you plan to be gone for an extended period of time, ask a friendly neighbor of family member to keep an eye out for suspicious activity around your house. Also, please do not leave valuables in your car if it is parked outside overnight, and make sure your car is locked.
